From Millions to $40K: Defense Delivers in Van Nuys

Alexandria Saravia and Jesse Allen just got their verdict for their trial in Van Nuys where there was a moderate impact with admitted liability. Plaintiff was claiming extensive injuries including a life altering TBI, loss of their job, future surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome, and ongoing pain. Prior to trial, plaintiff's counsel said they would not engage in negotiations unless our opening offer was seven figures. At trial, opposing counsel asked for 7.6 MILLION DOLLARS. We told the jury to award $15,000.

The jury awarded $40,000 total. $0 for future treatment and $0 for future non-economic damages.
