Sheyda Khonji is an associate attorney working out of the San Diego office, focusing her practice on personal injury litigation. She brings a diverse legal perspective shaped by her experience in criminal defense and tenant eviction defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Sheyda worked for Legal Aid society of San Diego representing tenants in unlawful detainer cases. She also worked as a Federal Public Defender with Federal Defenders of San Diego, representing clients in felony criminal matters. She also gained valuable experience in law school interning with Phillips Black working on death penalty defense matters, and the California Innocence Project working on appellate matters. While in law school she was involved with the National Lawyer’s Guild, and on the Constitutional Law Quarterly Journal.
Outside of her legal practice, Sheyda enjoys spending time with her partner and their cat. She loves reading, playing tennis, listening to live music, and writing poetry.
